Movement Alerts

Know when something moves when it shouldn’t. SPOT Trace can send a notification when unexpected movement is detected, giving you an early warning if your asset has been disturbed or moved.

Dock Mode

Designed with boats and marine equipment in mind, Dock Mode helps reduce unnecessary alerts caused by normal movement on the water. It allows SPOT Trace to distinguish between expected motion and more significant changes in location.

Power Off Message

Get notified if your SPOT Trace is switched off. A Power Off Message gives you added awareness if the device stops transmitting, helping you stay informed about the status of your tracker.

Low Battery Message

Avoid losing track of your asset because of a flat battery. SPOT Trace can alert you when battery levels are running low, giving you time to replace them before connectivity is interrupted.

Status Message

Receive regular status updates so you know your SPOT Trace is active and operating as expected. It's a simple way to confirm your tracker is still connected and your asset is where it should be.

SPOT Trace Subscriptions

The tracker requires an active subscription to transmit location messages. Subscriptions are available directly from SPOT in the form of either a one off annual payment or a pay monthly flex plan, both of which include unlimited messaging.

Basic Service Subscription allows you to track your device every 5,10, 30 or 60 minutes. It will also automatically send a SMS text/email with your asset's GPS coordinates once movement has been detected. Also, customize your device's dock mode, movement alert, status, low battery and power off settings.

Extreme Tracking Subscription gives you access to basic subscription features plus the additional feature of tracking every 2.5 minutes.
