Thales MissionLink is the first land based terminal to be released for the high speed satellite data service, Iridium Certus. Iridium Certus is a new service available as a result of the launch of Iridium's 2nd generation constellation of 66 satellites providing global coverage, pole to pole.
MissionLink is suitable for mounting on vehicles or for use at fixed stations and buildings. The compact and lightweight antenna means it can be installed on a variety of assets - allowing the tracking of vehicles and machinery and offering the use of voice and data communication to personnel using the equipment.

To remain connected and ensure safety in remote areas, the Thales MissionLINK safety services include location tracking, telemedicine capabilities and voice and data-enabled features to deliver voice communications, to up to 3 dedicated channels. Additionally, this terminal provides real-time emrgency alert and distress notifications.
Operational Enhancements
To enhance the operations of those in remote locations, the MissionLINK terminal provides reporting, service logging, mobile connectivity, system/cargo monitoring and many other operational requirements. Additionally, an embedded 802.11b/g Wi-Fi Access point is available.
Multiple User Capability
The MissionLINK terminal can provide connectivity for up to 12 connected devices. Also, applications are enabled to function with Android and iOS devices.
