The Shout sp Satellite Tracker from Iridium combines a tracking and messaging device with a smartphone. The satellite tracker operates on the Android Operating System to support voice calls, push-to-talk and data hotspot features.
The SHOUT sp is an advanced Iridium Connected® solution that blends the proven tracking and messaging features of the SHOUT line with Iridium voice capability through an intuitive Android interface. Designed for use on the Iridium NEXT network, it supports Short Burst Data (SBD), SMS, and voice calling. For users operating on Iridium’s commercial gateway, global Push-to-Talk (PTT) functionality is also available.
The device includes a touchscreen display for quick navigation, LED indicators for status updates, a protected emergency button, an integrated Iridium antenna, and a USB-C port. The USB-C connection supports charging, software configuration, and firmware updates, while the LEDs can be disabled for low-visibility or tactical applications.
