Fleet One Global T&Cs
- The expiration date will be extended based on the date of voucher redemption.
- Inmarsat Prepaid expirations occur at 00:00 UTC on the expiration date. To ensure airtime is not lost, the recharge should be processed at least 24 hours prior to expiration.
- Unused units will roll over if the SIM is topped up prior to the expiration date.
- Crew, Multi-Voice, ISDN and Streaming Class Services are not available on Fleet One activations.
- To be eligible for the Fleet One Global plan, the following conditions must be met at all times throughout the Service Term:
- Vessels must have a Maritime Mobile Security Identity (MMSI) provided upon provisioning.
- Vessels must receive the service using an Inmarsat type approved Fleet One terminal.
- Vessels must not be floating or fixed platforms, or rigs.
- If the above information is found to be incorrect or falsely provided, GTC reserves the right to cancel the plan and charge the user in full. These charges are deemed a price adjustment reflecting what would have been payable on an Inmarsat Standard Plan for vessels not eligible for the Fleet One Service Plan.
- A further administrative charge may be applied to the user for converting to the correct plan.
- All services used on Fleet One Global plans are available without geographical restriction.
Fleet One Coastal T&Cs

- Inmarsat Prepaid expirations occur at 00:00 UTC. To ensure airtime is not lost, the recharge should be processed at least 24 hours prior to expiration.
- Unused units will roll over if the SIM is topped up before the expiration date.
- Crew, Multi-Voice, ISDN and Streaming Class Services are not available on Fleet One activations.
- To be eligible for the Fleet One Coastal plan, the following conditions must be met at all times throughout the Service Term:
- Vessels must either be:
- Small vessels under 500 GRT, or
- Larger vessels solely engaged in fishing or pleasure yachts.
- Vessels must have a Maritime Mobile Security Identity (MMSI) provided upon provisioning.
- Vessels must receive the service using an Inmarsat type approved Fleet One terminal.
- Vessels must not be floating or fixed platforms, or rigs.
- Vessels must either be:
- Upon request from GTC, the user must provide documents and information to demonstrate vessel eligibility for a Fleet One Coastal Plan.
- GTC reserves the right to cancel any airtime subscription with 14 days’ notice if the vessel is found to be ineligible.
- If a vessel is ineligible, GTC reserves the right to retroactively re-rate any in-region “Home” traffic at the Standard Plan rate. These charges reflect what would have been payable under an Inmarsat Standard Plan for ineligible vessels.
- An additional administrative charge may be applied to cover conversion to the correct plan.
- Fleet One Coastal Plans offer specialised pricing within designated “Home Region” areas:
- Data services are restricted to the Home Region.
- Voice services are available without geographical restriction.
- For top-up purposes, the Fleet One Coastal Prepaid Plan designation also applies to the original 2014 Fleet One Prepaid Plan, which used Home Region and Out-of-Region burn rates.
- The Home Region map is indicative. Coverage has been extended to include all continental coastlines up to 200 NM or more, including Panama, Suez, Malacca, and all inland waterways. Inmarsat will release an app to help vessels monitor boundary proximity. Coverage limitations apply only to data services.
Please note: By requesting activation of your prepaid airtime, you agree that network services may begin before the end of the statutory cancellation period, meaning you waive your right to cancel or request a refund. Ensure you have ordered the correct airtime for your handset or terminal. This does not affect your statutory rights.
