Certified Used Iridium Extreme® combines market-leading toughness with an unmatched feature set including location awareness and a fully integrated SOS button with emergency response service — all in one compact handset.
The product has been through our rigorous testing and in full working order. There may be scuffs and damage but this does not effect the use. The Packaging maybe damaged.
You will still receive all of the standard kit components that are included with a new device and a 12-month warranty.
Our used Iridium Extreme devices deliver the same proven performance as the original flagship model, in a lighter, smaller form factor than the older Iridium 9555. They provide true near-global voice, SMS, and data coverage, along with the industry-first combination of built-in GPS, online tracking, and a dedicated SOS function with notification options (tracking features require an additional contract).
Even as a pre-owned device, the Iridium Extreme remains one of the most capable satellite phones on the market. It carries an IP65 rating for dust, shock, and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810F durability for demanding environments. It also supports Iridium AxcessPoint, enabling the handset to function as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot for email and basic data when used with the appropriate services.
Iridium Extreme Key Features:
Satellite Voice Capability: Using Iridium's global satellite network, the Extreme allows you to make and receive phone calls anywhere in the world. The phone offers an integrated speakerphone and hands-free capability through a headset included as standard in our Extreme® phone kit.
SMS and Email Messaging: The Iridium Extreme is SMS and email enabled, allowing you to stay in touch and share experiences with others anywhere in the world. SMS and email messaging is limited to 160 characters and delivery/receipt is dependent on compatibility with local mobile network carriers.
SOS Emergency Button: The Iridium Extreme has a programmable emergency button that activates critical, rapid response when you need it most. It is the only satellite phone currently available with emergency services supported by International Emergency Response Coordinating Center (IERCC), included at no additional cost.
GPS Positioning: The Iridium Extreme Sat Phone is equipped with Location Based Services (LBS) enabling GPS positioning. This allows you to pinpoint and share your coordinates from anywhere on the globe.
Jet Water Resistant: With a ruggedised IP65 rating, the highest of any satellite phone currently available, the Iridium Extreme Sat Phone is designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions. It is jet water resistant, shock resistant, dustproof, and has a rugged antenna for unparalleled durability.
Online Tracking: When used in conjunction with GTCTrack, GTC's online advanced mapping portal, the Iridium Extreme offers a variety of advanced tracking functions such as a breadcrumb trail of historic movements, live view (position of last message transmitted) and exact location of SOS and emergency requests. These tracking functions are available with an additional subscription.
Not all mobile networks allow you to send text messages to satellite phones and as a result text messaging can be unreliable. Please check with your provider or contact us for further information.
Certified Used Product Grades
Grade A – Like New
In like-new condition with all original accessories included. The outer packaging may be damaged, which is why the product cannot be sold as new.
Grade B – Used
Fully tested and in good working order. The device may show light cosmetic marks or scuffs. Includes all accessories, although the packaging may be damaged.
Grade C – Device Only
A fully working standalone device with no accessories included. It may show signs of previous use and may not come in its original packaging.
Grade D – Spares or Repairs
A non-working device sold as-is for spare parts or repair purposes. No accessories are included.
