£299.95(Ex. VAT)
The ACR ResQLink View PLB is a compact, subscription-free Personal Locator Beacon that provides life-saving emergency communications anywhere in the world. Featuring an integrated digital display, it offers clear confirmation of GPS acquisition, battery status, and beacon activation, giving you added confidence in an emergency. With global Cospas-Sarsat satellite coverage, a powerful 406 MHz distress signal, 121.5 MHz homing beacon, and rugged waterproof construction, the ResQLink View is trusted by hikers, sailors, climbers, and outdoor professionals who need reliable emergency protection beyond the reach of mobile networks.
The ACR ResQLink View is a compact, subscription-free personal locator beacon designed to provide an essential lifeline during serious emergencies in remote or offshore locations.
Built for hikers, sailors, climbers, expedition teams and outdoor professionals, the ResQLink View can transmit your distress alert and location to the international search and rescue satellite system when mobile coverage and other communication networks are unavailable.
Emergency Reassurance Wherever You Travel
When activated, the ResQLink View transmits a powerful emergency signal alongside your location data, helping search and rescue teams identify your position and coordinate an appropriate response.
The integrated digital screen provides clear information throughout the activation process, allowing you to monitor the beacon’s status and confirm that it is operating as intended. This added visibility can offer valuable reassurance during a stressful emergency situation.
Compact, Buoyant and Ready for Adventure
Smaller and lighter than previous ResQLink models, the ResQLink View is easy to carry without adding unnecessary bulk to your equipment. Its inherently buoyant construction makes it particularly well suited to sailing, kayaking, watersports and other marine applications.
The included attachment options allow the beacon to be secured to clothing, backpacks, lifejackets or other essential equipment, keeping it within easy reach when it matters most.
Designed for Reliable Search and Rescue Support
The ResQLink View combines satellite distress alerting, location positioning and local homing technology to help rescue services locate you as accurately and efficiently as possible.
Visible and infrared strobe lighting can also assist rescuers during darkness, poor weather or low-visibility conditions, making the beacon suitable for use across a wide range of challenging environments.
No Ongoing Subscription Required
Unlike many satellite communication devices, the ACR ResQLink View does not require a monthly or annual service plan. Once purchased and correctly registered, it can remain part of your emergency equipment without ongoing subscription charges.
The long-life internal battery is designed for extended storage and emergency operation. Routine self-testing allows you to check the beacon’s electronics and positioning functionality, helping ensure it remains ready for use.
Re-programming your ResQlink View PLB
All Personal Locator Beacons sold by GTC are pre-programmed with the UK country code. Whilst they will function anywhere around the world, the first authority to be contacted in an emergency situation would be the UK Coastguard Agency in Falmouth with whom the PLB would be registered. Please contact us if you wish to have your PLB shipped with configuration for use in a country other than UK.
This ACR PLB should only be used in situations of grave and imminent danger to life. False alerts endanger lives and cause expensive disruption to Search & Rescue services. Deliberate misuse of the device could result in a penalty.
Please note that PLBs will not work underwater and should be used in a canister if you intend to carry at a depth exceeding the maximum depth stated in the technical specification.
Register your ResQlink View PLB
Registering your Personal Locator Beacon is required by law in most countries. Registering is very important because should your beacon ever be activated, it is how Search and Rescue Teams will know who you are, and contacts provided may be able to supply information about your specific travel plans. In the absence of this information, it may take longer for a search-and-rescue operation to begin.
Once you have received your programmed Personal Locator Beacon, the owner is required to register their PLB with the Cospas Sarsat website to add their device to the International Beacon Registration Database (IBRD). To register your device, you must provide your unique Beacon HEX ID number, which can be found on your PLB and box. Use the links below to register your device:
