Satellite Phone Balance

Whether you're preparing for a trip or simply want to keep track of your remaining prepaid airtime, checking your balance is quick and easy. Most satellite devices allow you to check your remaining units and SIM validity directly from the handset.

Before checking your balance:
Your satellite device must be switched on, registered to the satellite network, and positioned outdoors with a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. Buildings, trees and other obstacles can prevent the device from connecting successfully.


Iridium Prepaid Balance

To hear your remaining airtime balance and SIM validity:

  1. Ensure your Iridium phone has network signal.

  2. Dial 2888.

  3. Press the Call button.

  4. Follow the automated voice prompts.


Thuraya Prepaid Balance

You can check your balance in two ways.

On-screen balance

Dial:

*151#

then press the Call button.

Voice balance

Dial:

151

then follow the prompts.

Please note: Thuraya displays prepaid balances in US Dollars (USD) together with your SIM validity period.


Inmarsat IsatPhone Prepaid Balance

On-screen balance

Dial:

*106#

and press Call.

Voice balance

Dial:

591

to hear your remaining balance and validity.

From another telephone

You can also dial:

+870 772 000 591

You'll be prompted to enter your satellite phone number before your balance is read out.

Please note: Calls to Inmarsat numbers are charged at your landline or mobile provider's international call rates.


Inmarsat BGAN Prepaid Balance

  1. Connect to your BGAN terminal.

  2. Dial:

591

  1. Follow the automated prompts to hear your remaining balance and validity.


Globalstar Prepaid Balance

  1. Dial:

*888

  1. Press Call.

  2. Enter your 4-digit account passcode when prompted.

  3. Select Option 2 to hear your remaining balance.


Don't Have Access to Your Device?

If your satellite phone isn't available, don't worry.

Depending on your network, it may still be possible to check your prepaid balance remotely or obtain your remaining airtime through your account or service provider.
