Introducing the Cat® S75

The Cat® S75 is a satellite phone built tough enough to handle whatever gets thrown at it. It’s been put through its paces in testing so you can rely on it in real life. From head height drops onto steel surfaces to being submersed in water, the Cat S75 from GTC is probably one of our most rugged devices to date.

Robust Features:

This rock-solid satellite phone is packed full of features to help keep you connected from the trail or the building site, including the following as its standout elements:

  • Seamless Satellite Connectivity: Cat has built one of the most reliable satellite messaging services on the planet where your friends, family, and loved ones are just a message away. Bullitt Satellite Messenger is currently the first and only app in the world to send text messages via a GEO satellite network.
  • Damage Resistant: With the Caterpillar CAT S75, you can say goodbye to cracks and dents. To prove that Cat's nigh-on indestructible handsets work and play as hard as their users do, the handset has been drop-tested onto steel from 1.8m. Not only this, it is submersible up to 5m and is IP68 and IP69K rated.
  • Two-Way Messaging Over Satellite: Enjoy a two-way conversation with colleagues, friends, and loved ones from almost anywhere in the world.
  • Location Sharing and Check-Ins: With the Cat S75 and Bullitt Satellite connectivity, you’re only off-grid when you say so. Share your location with key contacts to create peace of mind for the ones you leave back home or back at base.
  • International SOS Service: Help is always just a tap away: Bullitt Satellite Messenger connects you to the Crisis Response Centre (CRC), which is fully monitored 24/7, 365 days a year.

All-Weather Companion: How the Cat® S75 Thrives in Extreme Conditions

Unlike traditional satellite phones and even smartphones, the Caterpillar S75 is designed to function under extreme circumstances and in harsh conditions. Because it is fully shock, sand, impact, and dust resistant, it can take all the bumps, scrapes, and drops of the construction yard or quarry, and being waterproof up to an incredible 5m for up to 35 minutes, you won’t have to worry if it’s dropped into a stream or river whilst on a hiking or camping trip, for example.

Unleashing the Potential: Real-World Applications

It is important to remember that the Cat S75 is not a dedicated satellite phone like those offered by Iridium or Inmarsat, however, it does offer limited satellite communication capabilities through the integration of a satellite messaging app.

Here are some potential real-life applications for the ultra-toughened satellite phone:

Remote Expeditions and Adventure Activities: It can be useful for individuals or groups engaged in remote expeditions, adventure activities, or outdoor pursuits such as hiking, camping, mountaineering, and sailing. It allows users to stay connected and communicate even in areas where there is no traditional phone coverage.

Remote Work and Offshore Operations: In remote work environments, such as oil rigs, mining sites, or offshore installations, where traditional cellular networks may not be accessible, the Cat S75 can provide a means of communication for workers, keeping them in touch with their teams, supervisors, or loved ones via satellite messaging.

Military and Defense Applications: The ruggedness and satellite communication capabilities of the Cat S75 can make it suitable for military personnel deployed in remote locations or on special missions. It can provide a reliable communication channel in areas where traditional mobile networks may not be available or secure.
