New IsatPhone Pro external antenna ideal offers cost-effective way to use your sat phone inside your boat, car or home

IsatPhone Pro users can now experience high-quality communications on the move with the new external antenna, available from early August 2012.

The external antenna has been developed for the IsatPhone Pro in response to user feedback and is ideal for those needing remote voice communications inside baots, vehicles and buildings.

The passive antenna requires no power source to operate and with its magnetic feet can be securely placed on the roof of a vehicle, boat or building, giving the user omni-directional coverage no matter where they go.

Comprehensive kit The antenna will connect to the Inmarsat network in areas with a satellite elevation of 20 degrees or more and can be removed or repositioned simply and easily without leaving any damage or unsightly marks.

The IsatPhone Pro External Antenna, available from early in August, includes:

Rigorous trial Field trials of the external antenna included off-road rugged driving in Australia and testing it in extreme weather conditions with excellent results. As it is a dual-mode Inmarsat/GPS antenna, trials showed that the IsatPhone Pro can acquire the Inmarsat network faster than previously experienced.

The IsatPhone Pro External Antenna will be available £250 excluding VAT.
