Rent an Iridium GO! satellite hotspot and transform your smartphone or tablet into a global communications device. Using the Iridium satellite network, the Iridium GO! allows you to make voice calls, send and receive messages, access email, download weather forecasts and stay connected when travelling beyond the reach of traditional mobile networks.
The Iridium GO! is a popular satellite communications rental solution for sailors, expedition teams, overlanders, remote workers, emergency response organisations, media crews and travellers operating in areas where reliable mobile coverage is unavailable. Compact, portable and easy to use, it creates a personal WiFi hotspot that allows compatible smartphones and tablets to communicate over the Iridium satellite network from virtually anywhere in the world.
Unlike a traditional satellite phone, the Iridium GO! allows multiple users to connect their devices through a single satellite connection. Simply deploy the integrated antenna and the unit automatically connects to the Iridium satellite constellation, creating a satellite WiFi hotspot with a range of approximately 30 metres. Up to five devices can connect simultaneously, making it an excellent option for small teams, vessels and remote projects.
The Iridium GO! supports voice calls, two-way messaging, email access, weather forecasting and location sharing through compatible applications. Its rugged design and portable form factor make it particularly well suited to offshore sailing, expeditions, remote travel, overlanding and emergency preparedness applications where dependable communications are essential.
