inReach technology uses the Iridium satellite network to communicate two-way messaging anywhere in the world. Even more importantly this technology allows you to initiate an SOS response anywhere in the world.

The Montana 700i has an internal, rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack which provides more than 18 hours of battery life in GPS mode. For longer trips use Expedition Mode, an ultralow-power GPS setting to allow tracking for more than a week between recharges.
