The SkyLink 6100 is designed for use on marine vessels and is powered by the world’s leading L-band satellite network, Iridium Certus. From anywhere in the world, the 6100 delivers cellular connectivity for maritime voice, data, telemetry, and monitoring solutions to and from vessels and off-shore sites. Built with operational efficiency and safety in mind, this lightweight device is easy to install on manned and unmanned vessels.

Description

Designed by satellite technology pioneers, Blue Sky Network, the SkyLink 6100 is built for applications such as commercial maritime and workboat operations. It is the sea-faring counterpart to its land-based sibling, the SkyLink 5100, and offers internet/VPN access with the ability to send emails and share media from anywhere in the world.

The SkyLink 6100 is compact and lightweight and can be mounted vertically or horizontally on an ocean-going vessel whether it has a crew or not. It can be used to receive real-time communications and as a telematics channel for vital updates between vessels or sites back on dry land.

Thanks to its continuous connectivity and Least-Cost Routing, coupled with its IP65 and 67 rating, the 6100 is as efficient as it is tough and able to handle harsh, outdoor environments even when temperatures drop as low as -40°C or soar as high as +70°C

The highly portable SkyLink 6100 can be used for a host of applications from autonomous vessel battery monitoring and ship-to-shore data transfer, to integrating into Vessel Monitoring Systems (VMS) on any vessel in the world. With upload speeds of 22Kbps and download speeds of 88Kbps, this intelligent device is smart communication and value for money all in one discreet package.
