Iridium Specific Terms:
- +1 Services only available with a US phone number at this time.
- The Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option is only available for Iridium Subscribers using SIM-based Iridium Handsets and is not available for use with L-Band Transceivers or the Iridium GO!®(“Non-Eligible Equipment”). There is no term commitment on the Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option. Iridium will monitor SIM Card IDs/IMSIs and IMEIs on a monthly basis to determine if the Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option is being activated and used on Non-Eligible Equipment. If Iridium determines that the Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option is being activated and used on Non-Eligible Equipment, Iridium reserves the right to: (i) deactivate the Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option on the Non-Eligible Equipment with immediate effect without any required notice, (ii) deactivate the Non-Eligible Equipment with immediate effect without any required notice, or combination of both. Voice calls between an ISU and Non-Eligible Equipment (i.e. Iridium 9555 to Iridium GO!) are not covered by the Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option and will be charged at the Iridium to Iridium rate as per the Overage Rate Table. Iridium reserves the right to modify or terminate this Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option with thirty (30) days advance notice.
Iridium DSG Specific Terms:
- DSG plans are on an approval basis and require up to 7 working days to be created. Overage Charges for the three bundled and pooled voice call types (i.e., ISU-ISU, ISU-PSTN, and ISU-Iridium VM), and ETF charges.
- Under either the Starter 25, Advanced 100, or Power 250 plans, Iridium subscribers on the same plan may aggregate or “pool” their monthly bundled voice minutes (Iridium to Fixed/Cellular, Iridium to Iridium and Iridium to Voicemail) in a DSG (the“DSG Bundle”). For clarity, SMS-MO messages are not pooled. Each ISU participating in a DSG will be charged as per the rates in the Monthly Airtime Agreement Options. Each ISU’s voice usage of the three bundled call types (Iridium to Fixed/Cellular, Iridium to Iridium and Iridium to Voicemail) will be decremented against the DSG Bundle’s pooled voice minutes during the bill cycle until the pool is exhausted, at which point the Overage Rates as set forth in the Overage Rates Table apply. There is no rollover of bundled minutes as all voice minute allotments represent only the maximum usage without incurring additional charges or fees, not a required usage amount. As a result, there will be no minutes available for use or “rollover” at the end of the bill cycle. An ISU may only be included in a single DSG; however, the Starter 25, Advanced 100, or Power 250 Plans may each have more than one DSG created, subject to each DSG meeting the Minimum DSG Participants as set forth below
- If the ISUs’ aggregate usage of pooled minutes for the three bundled call types (Iridium to Fixed/Cellular, Iridium to Iridium and Iridium to Voicemail) in a DSG exceeds the DSG Bundle during a billing cycle, the charges in the Overage Rates Table will apply plus an additional ten percent (10%) pooling surcharge. For clarity, only the three bundled voice call types (Iridium to Fixed/Cellular, Iridium to Iridium and Iridium to Voicemail) may be pooled in a DSG. All other call types are rated individually and invoiced at the per minute rates set forth in Overage Rates Table at all times in the billing cycle.
- Each DSG requires a participating minimum of five (5) ISUs and is allowed a maximum of one thousand (1,000) participating ISUs. Upon creation, the DSG has a one (1) month grace period to reach the minimum of five (5) ISUs (“Grace Period”). After the Grace Period has expired, in the event that a DSG has less than the Minimum DSG Participants during a bill cycle, the DSG shall be billed an MRC equivalent to the aggregate MRC of the Minimum DSG Participants. Payment of the minimum collective MRC fee does not entitle the active ISUs in the DSG to any additional bundled minutes allowance during the billing cycle – only active ISUs in the DSG contribute their bundled minute allocation to the DSG Bundle of pooled minutes. In addition to individual Subscriber Plan Term Commitments, each DSG has a minimum twelve (12) month commitment period (“DSG Minimum Term Commitment”). Early termination of a DSG prior to the end of the DSG Minimum Term Commitment shall result in an early termination fee equal to the respective MRC multiplied by the number of Minimum DSG Participants. If an ETF is applied, it will also incur a ten percent (10%) pooling surcharge. All ISUs within the DSG inherit the same attributes that were specified upon the creation of the DSG to which they belong. An ISU changing plans or migrating to or from a DSG during a bill cycle may result in prorations to their monthly charges. Migration to or from a DSG is limited to one (1) per month for each ISU.
