Standard Terms & Conditions
- Pro-Rated First Month: All plans will be pro-rated in the first month. This includes the activation fee, monthly fee (in monetary form), and any inclusive allowances (e.g. minutes, SMS, MB), based on activation date.
- Inclusive Allowances: Any inclusive minutes, SMS, MB, or other allowances do not carry over to the next month. No compensation, rebate, or credit is provided for unused allowances.
- Overage Charges: Once inclusive allowances are used, overage charges apply at the rates shown in the Calling Rates table. These are calculated and invoiced monthly.
- Minimum Term & Rolling Contract: The stated minimum term is a commitment period. After this, your contract will continue on a rolling monthly basis unless otherwise stated. Charges continue until you request disconnection in writing via email. Deactivation will only be considered actioned once an email has been returned, acknowledging your email.
- Incoming Calls & SMS: There are no charges for receiving calls or SMS, and these do not count against your allowance. The caller/sender will be charged by their provider.
- Final Month Billing: The final month is always billed in full.
Iridium-Specific Terms
- +1 Services: Available only with a US phone number.
- Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On (Iridium Subscriber Unit):
- The Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option is only available for Iridium Subscribers using SIM-based Iridium Handsets and is not available for use with L-Band Transceivers or the Iridium GO!® (“Non-Eligible Equipment”). Iridium will monitor SIM Card IDs/IMSIs and IMEIs on a monthly basis to determine if the Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option is being activated and used on Non-Eligible Equipment. If Iridium determines that the Unlimited ISU-ISU Voice Add-On option is being activated and used on Non-Eligible Equipment, Iridium reserves the right to:
- Deactivate the Add-On for Non-Eligible Equipment at any time, without notice, or
- Modify or terminate this Add-On with 30 days’ notice.
- Calls between ISU and Non-Eligible Equipment (e.g., Iridium 9555 to GO!) are not covered and are charged at standard rates.
Iridium DSG Specific Terms
- Approval Required: DSG plans require approval and may take up to 7 working days to create.
- Pooled Voice Minutes:
- Subscribers on Starter 25, Advanced 100, or Power 250 can pool voice minutes (Iridium to Fixed/Cellular, Iridium to Iridium, Iridium to Voicemail).
- SMS-MO messages are not pooled.
- No rollover of minutes; all allowances are for maximum usage per cycle only.
- Once pooled minutes are exhausted, overage charges plus a 10% pooling surcharge apply.
- All other call types are charged individually.
- DSG Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 ISUs, maximum of 1,000 ISUs per DSG.
- 1-month grace period to reach minimum participants; otherwise, minimum fees apply.
- Paying minimum fees does not grant extra minutes.
- Term Commitments & Early Termination:
- Each DSG has a minimum 12-month commitment.
- Early termination incurs a fee: monthly recurring charge (MRC) x minimum DSG participants, plus 10% surcharge if ETF applies.
- ISUs may only migrate plans or DSG once per month; mid-cycle changes may be pro-rated.
