Description

Designed to be budget-friendly, the Hughes 9502 terminal allows BGAN connectivity to hard-to-reach or unmanned sites where internet connection does not exist.

The terminal enhances environmental, utility, and industrial operations such as SmartGrids or well site automation by transmitting rock-solid, global, end-to-end IP connectivity levels.

In the event of a power outage, the Hughes 9502 engages its integrated IP Watchdog to guarantee “always-on” network connectivity. Any loss of power to the terminal and its auto-context activation kicks in to return its power to itself.

Keep Costs Down

  • Ultra-low power consumption with just 1W while idling
  • Achieve end-to-end IP connectivity in power-starved regions
  • Auto-on/auto context activation protects sensitive energy budgets
  • Free over-the-air firmware upgrades

Safety and efficiency are included as standard with the Hughes 9502. It comes with 10m of RF cable which means the antenna can be positioned remotely, away from the transceiver, to overcome complicated installation setups. Meanwhile, the SIM card can be housed in an enclosure to protect against theft or vandalism.
