Designed for the professional market but still perfectly suitable for leisure purposes, the Certus® 100 comes with two high-quality voice channels and 100% global coverage through the Iridium satellite network. The device itself is comprised of a control unit, antenna unit, handset, and cradle, where a single coaxial cable connects the control unit with the antenna unit. For even more flexibility, up to 500m of separation between the units can be achieved, meaning users can mount the antenna unit in the best possible location with a clear line of sight to the sky.
Not only is the Certus® 100 powerful and efficient,it is also built to withstand the demanding and rough environment of the open ocean and has an operational temperature range of -40⁰C to +55⁰C (-40⁰F to +131⁰F).
