The IsatPhone 2 is extremely robust, with an IP rating of 65 and IK04, it offers shock protection resistance against impacts with energy of 0,500 J and water projected by a nozzle (6.3mm) from any direction will have no harmful effects on the phone.
The IsatPhone 2 has Lithium-ion batteries that offers exceptional battery life of up to 160 hours standby time.
The new tracking service has a dedicated button with an LED icon that will send location information via text message to a predetermined number or e-mail address. It is possible to program the IsatPhone 2 to send location information at set intervals and it can even be tracked via 3rd party tracking portals using SMS rates.
If you find yourself in an emergency situation you can press the Assistance Button and a user-defined text message and your GPS location will be sent to an emergency number that you can program on the handset itself.
The IsatPhone 2 has an e-compass with a built-in magnetometer that makes it faster and easier to get onto the Inmarsat network and is only displayed if the initial search for Inmarsat satellites fails.
Please note that Inmarsat do not approve the IsatPhone 2 for Maritime use. IsatPhone 2 for data usage is compatible with Windows versions up to 7 (32 bit). For use with Windows 8 upwards will need to purchase the RedPort Optimizer

Automated tracking is available on this device meaning contacts back home can follow your journey or you can monitor the movement of your assets.
Data
This unit is ideal to be used in conjunction with our compression software, RemoteMail, to allow you to send and receive basic emails and also gain access to GRIB Weather files. This unit is not suitable for web browsing.
SOS
Have added peace of mind by setting up the designated SOS button on this device. Notifications will go to friends, family or colleagues and on certain devices including Garmin and SPOT to a specialist emergency response centre. PLBs and EPIRBs send emergency alerts to the coastguard. (GEOS service not available on PLBs, EPIRBs or radios).
