Important SPOT Pricing Update
Due to the continued volatility in global exchange rates over the last 24 months, Globalstar have unfortunately been left with no option but to increase the cost of their Basic Service Plans for SPOT tracking devices. In order to limit the impact as much as possible on their customers they are applying an average increase of just 13% and will therefore continue to ingest the majority of the difference in exchange rates.
This price increase will take effect on the 1st March 2016 and so we would recommend that you activate your device before that date in order to avoid the higher charges.
Please note that the increase will only apply to Basic Service Plans on Personal Trackers, Satellite GPS Messengers, Gen3 and Trace units. Unlimited and Extreme Tracking pricing will not be affected by this price increase and will therefore remain the same.
Please see below a table outlining the Basic Service Plan price increase:
If you have any queries or concerns regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact Globalstar at firstname.lastname@example.org
